If your IT team hasn't approved Marloo's calendar permissions, or you simply prefer not to connect a calendar, you can still record and summarise meetings using any of these methods.
1. Send Marloo to a virtual meeting by pasting a link
For Zoom, Teams, or Google Meet calls:
Go to your Marloo dashboard and click New Meeting.
Paste your meeting link into the box.
When the meeting is starting, click Send Marloo Now.
Admit Marloo from the waiting room when it joins.
Note: Pasting a link does not work for meetings with a passcode set. If your meeting requires a passcode, connect your calendar instead.
The meeting won't automatically link to an existing calendar event. Tag the client to the meeting manually so it appears in their profile.
2. Upload an existing audio file
If you've already recorded a meeting separately:
Go to your dashboard and click New Meeting.
Use the upload option to add your audio file.
Marloo will transcribe and process the recording automatically.
3. Record in-person meetings using the mobile app
Download the Marloo app and log in with your Marloo credentials.
Tap New Meeting > Start Recording.
Tap Stop Recording when finished. Keep the app open and in the foreground throughout.
To record phone calls: see Recording Phone Calls on iPhone or Recording Phone Calls on Android.
4. Paste an existing transcript
If you already have a transcript from another source, you can paste it directly and Marloo will generate your summary.
Tips
Tag clients to meetings so notes appear in their profile. Meetings created via New Meeting won't automatically link to calendar events.
For the best experience long-term, connecting your calendar is recommended. See Calendar Integration.
