Recording Phone Calls on Android for Marloo

Please search whether your Android device has native call recording functionality, as it varies greatly between brands and models. Some Samsung models and other Android devices include built-in call recording features that save recordings directly to your phone's storage.

For devices with native call recording:

  1. Check your phone app settings for a call recording option during calls

  2. Locate saved recordings in your phone's file manager or phone app (typically in a "Recordings" or "Call recordings" folder)

  3. Upload to Marloo by logging into the Marloo website on your phone and clicking "New Meeting" to upload the recording file

For devices without native recording: Due to limited and inconsistent local call recording options, the most reliable and professional method is often to use a separate recording device.

  1. Use an External Recorder: Use a high-quality voice recorder or a dedicated hardware device designed for phone calls, such as the PLAUD NOTE. Many devices can connect to your phone via Bluetooth or a 3.5mm jack.

  2. Enable Speakerphone: To ensure clear audio, place your call on speakerphone in a quiet environment.

  3. Make the Recording: Use your external device to record the phone call.

  4. Save and Upload: Once the call is finished, save the audio file. Then, log into your Marloo account on your phone's web browser and upload the recording by creating a new meeting.

Note: When our Android app is released, you'll be able to upload recordings directly through the app instead of using the web browser on your mobile device.
