If you've tried connecting your calendar but your IT team hasn't approved the permissions, don't worry - you can still use Marloo to record and summarise your meetings. Here's how:
1. Send Marloo to Virtual Meetings (Paste the Link)
For Zoom, Teams, or Google Meet calls:
Go to the Marloo dashboard and click New Meeting
Paste your meeting link into the box
When the meeting is starting click the โSend Marloo Nowโ button so Marloo can join the meeting
Marloo's notetaker will join the meeting and start recording once admitted by the host
Watch how this works: How to send Marloo to a meeting
Note: When using this method, the meeting won't automatically link to an existing calendar event. Tag the client to the meeting so it appears in their client profile.
2. Upload Audio Files
If you've already recorded a meeting separately:
Go to your Marloo dashboard
Click New Meeting
Use the upload option to add your audio file
Marloo will transcribe and process the recording automatically

3. Record In-Person Meetings Using the Mobile App
Use the Marloo app on your phone to record face-to-face meetings:
Download the app and log in with same details as website
Before the meeting, click New Meeting> Start Recording
You can then view the transcript and view the summary on the website
Important: Always press the Stop Recording button when finished. This saves and uploads the recording. Keep the app open and in the foreground on iPhone to prevent interruption.

4. Upload an Existing Transcript
If you already have a transcript from another source, you can upload it directly and Marloo will generate your summary.
