Marloo labels speakers automatically, but the labels can come out wrong in a few ways. Most fixes take one click: click a speaker name in the transcript and type the right one. Find your symptom below.

Marloo heard distinct voices but had no names to attach. In virtual meetings the names come from each person's Microsoft Teams, Zoom or Google Meet profile. In-person recordings have no profiles, so rename each speaker on every new transcript. Marloo does not recognise a voice from one meeting to the next.

Click the name and type the correct spelling. It updates on every line at once.

All of John's lines show as Sarah, and all of Sarah's show as John. Two speakers cannot share a name, so the swap takes three renames:
Click Sarah and rename her to a placeholder, such as SJ.
Click John and rename him to Sarah.
Click SJ and rename to John.
If the words themselves are mixed between speakers, not just the names, renaming will not fix it. See Still stuck below.
There are more speakers than people in the meeting

Any extra voice the microphone heard can become its own label. The usual causes are background noise such as a TV or radio, someone talking nearby in an open-plan office, or a participant who joined briefly and left.
Click the extra label and rename it to the right person, or leave it. Both are fine.

Everyone came through one microphone, device or profile, for example a couple joining a Teams call from one laptop. Marloo heard a single audio channel, so it detected one speaker. To split them, run the audio through again as a new meeting:
Download the audio from the transcript's Options menu. See Download or copy a transcript. If Download audio is missing, export is not yet enabled for your account.
On the dashboard click New Meeting, choose Upload and select the file.
Marloo processes the audio again and splits the speakers on the new transcript.
Still stuck?
First confirm how many people were really in the meeting, and that no background audio or nearby conversation explains the extra labels. Then send support:
The meeting name
The real number of participants against the number of speakers shown
Whether it was a virtual meeting or an in-person recording
Whether you have ruled out background audio
