Marloo gives you two separate controls: privacy, which changes who in your firm can see a meeting, and hiding, which only changes what you see on your own dashboard. This article covers both, and how to get a hidden meeting back.
Making meetings private
Default visibility by role:
Advisers can only see meetings on their own calendar by default. They cannot see other advisers' calendars.
Support staff, managers and account owners can view all advisers' calendars by default.
Advisers cannot make their entire calendar private. They can make individual meetings or individual client profiles private using the steps below.
You can mark individual meetings as private for sensitive client discussions. A private meeting is visible only to the people attached to it: the attendees and anyone it has been shared with. This applies to everyone else in your firm, including support staff and account owners.
Navigate to the Meetings tab.
Find the meeting you want to make private.
Hover over the meeting entry.
Click the three-dot menu that appears.
Select Make private.
The meeting will immediately disappear from the dashboard of other team members. To reverse this, open the same menu and select Make public.
Sharing a private meeting with specific colleagues
If a meeting is private but a particular colleague needs to see it, open the three-dot menu on the meeting and select Share with team, then choose the people to share it with. Only those people gain access; the meeting stays hidden from everyone else.
Hiding meetings from your dashboard
You can hide specific meetings from your dashboard view. This is useful when sharing your screen with a client and you do not want other meeting titles visible. Hiding only affects your own view; it does not change who else can see the meeting.
Navigate to the Meetings tab.
Find the meeting you want to hide.
Hover over the meeting entry.
Click the three-dot menu.
Select Hide Meeting.
The meeting will no longer appear on your dashboard.
Viewing hidden meetings
To find meetings you have hidden:
Click the filter icon (three lines) in the meetings search bar.
Select Only show hidden meetings.
From here you can view or unhide any previously hidden meetings.
Hiding calendar events
If certain recurring events clutter your dashboard (e.g. internal meetings, buffer events, or personal appointments), you can control which event types are visible.
Click the filter icon (three lines) in the meetings search bar.
Use the event-type checkboxes to select which types of events appear on your dashboard.
Any event type with a blue tick will show on your dashboard. Untick event types you want to hide.
