Understanding the Four Highlight Types
Green (Citations)
Information extracted directly from source material. Click a green highlight to see the exact source document and the specific text excerpt used.
Green text has the highest confidence: Marloo is citing exactly what it found.
Example: A superannuation balance highlighted in green. Clicking the highlight shows a popup with the source statement (e.g., "[Client Name] - AustralianSuper statement Jun 2026.pdf") and the exact figure extracted.
Blue (Inferences)
Where Marloo has taken source information and made a judgment call, calculation, or extrapolation. Click a blue highlight to see the reasoning.
This is a quick way to screen AI-generated decisions and verify calculations.
Example: A total assets figure highlighted in blue. Clicking the highlight shows a popup with the calculation: "Sum of all assets listed: [value A] + [value B] + [value C] + [value D] + [value E] = [total]."
β
Yellow (Information Gaps)
Sections where Marloo did not have the required information to populate the template as requested. These serve as clear visual prompts for you to source the missing data from the client or from additional documents.
Red (Data Conflicts)
Conflicting information from multiple sources where Marloo had to make a priority decision on which to include. Review red highlights to verify the AI selected the correct information and deprioritised the right source.
Review Mode Workflow
Activate Review Mode by clicking the button in the floating toolbar.
Scan green text for accuracy. These are direct citations, so a quick check is usually sufficient.
Focus on blue text to verify AI calculations and judgments. Click each blue highlight to review the reasoning.
Check yellow highlights to identify missing information. Source the missing data from the client or upload additional documents.
Investigate red highlights to resolve conflicts. Verify that Marloo selected the correct information from competing sources.
Make corrections using the Ask Marloo chat panel on the right.
Export your document.
Tips
Focus your review time on blue and red highlights. Green is verified from source material. Yellow is a prompt to gather more information. By prioritising blue and red, you can efficiently verify the areas where the AI made decisions on your behalf.
