Auto-join configuration

Understanding auto-join: Auto-join determines whether Marloo automatically attends your scheduled virtual meetings or requires manual addition each time.

Setting up auto-join:

Step 1: Access meeting settings

  • Go to Settings > Meetings in your settings menu

  • Find the auto-join toggle switch

Step 2: Configure your preference

  • Toggle ON: Marloo will automatically join your virtual meetings

  • Toggle OFF: You'll add Marloo to meetings manually, case-by-case

Benefits of each approach:

  • Auto-join ON: Set and forget convenience, never miss recording a meeting

  • Auto-join OFF: More control over which specific meetings get recorded

Transcription language settings

Multi-language support: Marloo supports transcription in over 30 different languages, enabling accurate transcription for diverse client bases.

Setting your transcription language:

Step 1: Access language settings

  • In Meeting settings, find "Transcription Language"

  • View the list of available languages

Step 2: Select your language

  • Choose the primary language for your client conversations

  • This becomes your default transcription setting

Important considerations:

  • Case-by-case basis: You'll need to switch languages for different meetings

  • Pre-meeting setup: Change language settings before meetings conducted in non-English

  • Language switching: Update settings based on the specific meeting's language needs

Supported languages include:

  • Major European languages: English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Dutch

  • Asian languages: Mandarin, Japanese, Korean, Hindi, Thai

  • Regional variations: Different English dialects (US, UK, Australian)

  • Additional languages: 30+ total languages supported

Best practices for language settings:

  • Default to primary: Set your most common language as default

  • Pre-meeting prep: Check language settings before international client meetings

  • Team coordination: Ensure team members know how to adjust language settings

  • Testing: Test transcription accuracy in different languages during setup

Note: Meeting bot customisation options (including assistant name and logo) have been moved to the Branding section. To configure these settings, please navigate to Settings > Branding.
