Personal Settings

Updating Your Name and Email

To update your name or email address, navigate to Settings > Personal Settings. Edit your first name, last name, or email address directly.

Your name is visible to team members and appears when Marloo joins meetings on your behalf. Keep it up to date so clients and colleagues can identify you easily.

Changing Your Password

To change your password, go to Settings > Personal Settings > Security. Enter your current password, then create a new one.

Choose a strong password that includes a mix of uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols.

Forgotten Password

If you have forgotten your password, click Forgot Password on the Marloo login page. You will receive a password reset email.

If the email does not arrive, check your spam or junk folder. If you still cannot find it, contact Marloo support for assistance.

Signing Out

To sign out of Marloo, go to Settings > Personal and select the sign-out option. Sign out regularly from shared or public devices to keep your account secure.

Security Settings

Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)

MFA adds an extra layer of security by requiring both your password and a one-time code from an authenticator app each time you log in.

Setting Up MFA

  1. Navigate to Settings > Personal Settings > Security.

  2. Toggle MFA on.

  3. A QR code will appear on screen. Open your authenticator app (such as Google Authenticator or Authy) and scan the QR code.

  4. Enter the code displayed in your authenticator app to confirm setup.

Important: Each user must scan the QR code on their own device. Do not share QR codes with other team members, as this compromises account security.

How MFA Codes Work

Codes are generated by your authenticator app. They are not sent by SMS or email. Each code refreshes every 30 seconds, so enter it promptly when logging in.

Locked Out of MFA

If you lose access to your authenticator app or device, contact Marloo support. Your identity will be verified before MFA is reset on your account.

FAQs

My correct password is not working. What should I do?

If your firm uses single sign-on (SSO), click Sign-in options on the login page and select your SSO provider. If you do not use SSO, try clearing your browser cache and attempting again. Contact support if the issue persists.

My authenticator code is not being accepted. What is wrong?

Authenticator codes expire every 30 seconds. Make sure your phone clock is set to update automatically, as even a small time difference can cause codes to fail.

The wrong team loads when I log in. How do I fix this?

Your email address may be associated with a different workspace. Contact support and they will help you access the correct team.

How do I transfer my account to a new email address?

Contact Marloo support with both your current and new email addresses. The team will update your account for you.
